George Michael

George Michael (June 25, 1963 - December 25, 2016) was a British musician who had been successful with the 1980s pop duo Wham! and his solo career following the duo's breakup. He was openly homosexual and had quite a notorious lifestyle. Examples include his arrest for public lewdness in 1998, the death of his Brazilian lover due to an AIDS-related brain hemorrhage and his arrest for Class C drug possession.

Michael was found dead at his home in Goring-on-Thames, England on December 25, 2016 at age 53. Following a lengthy post-mortem, the cause of death was announced on March 7, 2017 as attributed to dilated cardiomyopathy, myocarditis and a fatty liver.
