Nawada is a small village of 121.6 hectares in Ballia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nawada depends on Belthara Road , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nawada's pin code is 277121[4], and village code is 09095800. The area of Nawada is segregated as 90.545 hectares irrigated area, 20.116 hectares unirrigated area. the 3.94 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 4.944 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Nawada has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Nawada is a census village in the district of Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 803 and has total administration over 129 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Nawada has 106 children, 62 boys and 44 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 199 (24.78%) males constitute 108 (13.45%) of the population and females 91 (11.33%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 8 (1.0%) males constitute 4 (0.50%) of the population and females 4 (0.50%).

According to a census 2011 report, 210 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 193 male, 17 female with 148 (70.48%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 135 males and 13 females. 105 males and 7 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 14 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 62 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Belthara Road and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
