Dotana is a small village of 448 hectares in Keshoraipatan Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dotana depends on KESHORAIPATAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Dotana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dotana's pin code is 323301[3], and village code is 02746500. The area of Dotana is segregated as 203.1 hectares irrigated area, 34.1 hectares unirrigated, the 119.08 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42.52 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Dotana has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dotana is a census village in the district of Bundi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 867 and has total administration over 159 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Dotana has 123 children, 66 boys and 57 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 213 (24.57%) males constitute 110 (12.69%) of the population and females 103 (11.88%).

The workforce is 246 male, 248 female with 169 (34.21%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 165 males and 4 females. 156 males and 2 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 male. 325 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KESHORAIPATAN and Bundi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
