New Jersey Homeschooling

From Conservapedia

New Jersey homeschooling is less regulated than in most states.

Homeschooled students are theoretically allowed to compete in public school sports if approval is granted by the public school district, but in practice it appears that often such permission is unjustifiably denied.[1]

Around 2008 or 2010, an African American homeschooler who was an excellent tennis player and had competed as a singles player for more than a year on his local high school varsity tennis team was removed from the team simply because he was homeschooled.
