Martin Johnson Heade

Martin Johnson Heade (1819 – 1904) was an American painter. His artworks include landscapes, seascapes, portraits, and Still Lifes. Heade painted numerous still lifes of birds and flowers. Part of his artworks were inspired in The Hudson River School; he was friend of a few painters of that School.
