Erbium(III) telluride is an inorganic compound, one of the tellurides of erbium, with the chemical formula Er₂Te₃. It has a Sc₂S₃ structure, a space group of Fddd, a band gap of 0.77(5) eV, and semiconducting properties.^[1] It can be obtained by the reaction of erbium and tellurium^[2]^[3] or the chemical vapor transport of erbium(III) chloride.^[1]
