The Georgia Felony Charges of Legislators Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Georgia on November 7, 2000, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure provided for the selection of replacements for members of the general assembly who have been convicted of a felony.[1]
