Beachy Amish

The Beachy Amish are a type of Amish who drive cars, use the electrical central power grid and telephones in the home, and make use of other technology such as limited computer use.^[1] Most Amish reject all that.

Beachy Amish have settlements in the hot climate of Texas, where air conditioning based on the power grid is nearly essential, and engage in more missionary work than the traditional Old Order Amish.
