The Heaven Sent Version of the Bible is a literal translation by Heaven Sent Gaming, its basis is a modernization "Young's Literal Translation" while using the larger amount of confirmed Biblical manuscripts. It seeks to "create deeper spiritual understanding and discussion of the original sacred text." And they "encourage reader feedback", though the project hasn't been updated in several months.
The HSV utilizes a vocabulary similar to lengthy video game RPGs, as is evident in the translation of Genesis 1 "At the start of things; God, Elohim, made the land and its skies." Its wordy, yet poetic. There's an obvious emphasis on depicting the names used for God, from the original Hebrew, meaning that accuracy remains a priority over poetry.
