Swartzentruber Amish

The Swartzentruber Amish is the most conservative sect within the traditional Old Order Amish. The Swarzentruber Amish tend to have larger families, and are particularly opposed to the use of technology.[1]

Several legal conflicts caused by counties demanding use of electric machines for removal of wastewater have involved the Swartzentruber Amish as they adhere to the principles of their faith instead.
