Awake!

Awake! is a religious magazine published on a monthly basis by Jehovah's Witnesses and is considered a companion to The Watchtower.

Publisher Statement: The magazine's purpose, according to the publisher, is "for the enlightenment of the entire family" by reporting on news, culture, religion and science. It considers itself to be politically neutral, not promoting one race above another. One goal of the magazine is to "build confidence in God's promise of a peaceful and secure new world."

The December 2007 issue claims an average printing of 34.2 million copies in 80 languages.
