Nari is a small village of 79.59 hectares in Phulpur Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nari depends on Sikandra Np, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nari's pin code is 221507[4], and village code is 05433000. The area of Nari is segregated as 12.02 hectares irrigated area, 22.797 hectares unirrigated area. the 9.116 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Nari has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Nari is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1049 and has total administration over 175 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 519 (49.48%) males constitute 285 (27.17%) of the population and females 234 (22.31%).

The workforce is 275 male, 72 female with 320 (92.22%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 253 males and 67 females. 79 males and 15 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 132 male and 49 female agricultural labor. 27 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikandra Np and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
