Dhara is a small village of 255 hectares in Bara Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhara depends on Shankargarh (NP, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Dhara's pin code is 212106[4], and village code is 05500400. The area of Dhara is segregated as 40 hectares irrigated area, 105 hectares unirrigated area. the 61 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 66 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Dhara has One post office (Khiri B.O). Dhara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dhara is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1860 and has total administration over 315 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 467 male, 390 female with 538 (62.78%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 350 males and 188 females. 75 males and 42 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 129 male and 121 female agricultural labor. 319 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Shankargarh (NP and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
