Dhara is a small village of 255 hectares in Bara Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhara depends on Shankargarh (NP, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. The area of Dhara is segregated as 40 hectares irrigated area, 105 hectares unirrigated area. the 61 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 66 hectare area not available for cultivation.
