Kiraon is a small village of 5.28 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kiraon depends on DHANUPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kiraon's pin code is 212507[4], and village code is 05576800. The area of Kiraon is segregated as 183 hectares irrigated area, 56 hectares unirrigated area. the 223 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 66 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Kiraon has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kiraon is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 6707 and has total administration over 1122 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 2153 (32.10%) males constitute 1055 (15.73%) of the population and females 1098 (16.37%).

According to a census 2011 report, 2091 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1355 male, 736 female with 1102 (52.7%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 835 males and 267 females. 431 males and 149 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 91 male and 54 female agricultural labor. 989 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of DHANUPUR and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
