RATTASAR is a small village of 3146 hectares in Suratgarh Tehsil in Ganganagar district, established by Maharaja Ganga Singh and known as one of the first well-planned modern cities of India, and is greatly influenced by the town planning of Paris in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. RATTASAR depends on SURATGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. RATTASAR is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. RATTASAR's pin code is 335805[4], and village code is 00301100. The area of RATTASAR is segregated as 3037 hectares unirrigated, remaining 109.38 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. RATTASAR has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

RATTASAR is a census village in the district of Ganganagar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1322 and has total administration over 227 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 337 (25.49%) males constitute 163 (12.33%) of the population and females 174 (13.16%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SURATGARH and Ganganagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
