Chapro is a small village of 547 hectares in Koraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chapro depends on Koraon (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Chapro's pin code is 212104[4], and village code is 05655600. The area of Chapro is segregated as 3.64 hectares irrigated area, 155.36 hectares unirrigated area. the 30 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 45 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Chapro has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Chapro is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1583 and has total administration over 263 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 363 male, 223 female with 430 (73.38%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 354 males and 76 females. 256 males and 39 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 65 male and 28 female agricultural labor. 156 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Koraon (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
