Theosis

From Conservapedia

Theosis is the belief in Hinduism of absorption of the human spirit into God.

In Gnosticism, Neo-Gnosticism and Bogomilism, divine gnosis "knowledge" is salvation by an experiential liberation of acknowledging the divine light within and rejecting involvement in physical matter.

In Christianity, Theosis, or divinization (lit. "making divine"), is a transformative process whose aim is likeness to or union with God, as taught by the Eastern Orthodox Church and Eastern Catholic Churches. In the Roman Catholic Church it is called sanctification.
