Directed by Francis Ford Coppola, Apocalypse Now is ranked #53 on an all-time listing of the finest films ever made.[1]

This movie is loosely based on the famous 1899 novel by the Polish-born English novelist Joseph Conrad, entitled Heart of Darkness.
