Hull City A.F.C

From Conservapedia

Hull City A.F.C. is a British soccer team based in the east-coast port city of Hull. The 2008/09 season was the first that the team had ever played top-tier football. After the relegation the team plays in the Football League Championship in the season 2017/2018. The club's manager is Nigel Pearson and they are sponsored by Karoo.

History[edit]

Hull City was founded in 1904; they would've been founded sooner had it not been for the popularity of rugby league in the city. A history of disappointment has marred the team's past, but a fresh look has catapulted them to the top tier, where they hope to stay for years to come. They also hold the record for the fastest ascent from the lowest division in The Football League to the English Premier League.[1]

Their Premier League spell was the seasons 2008-09 and 2009-10. Narrowly escaping relegation in 2009 they went down the year after.
