Friedrich Wilhelm Voigt (22 March 1833 – 22 February 1894) was a Prussian military musician and composer.

Voigt was born to the military staff oboist Christian Voigt in Koblenz. After attending higher schools in Koblenz and Trier, he studied music at the University of Music in Cologne, University of Music and Theatre Leipzig|University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig, and Stern Conservatory in Berlin.

• In 1857, Voigt became a staff oboist in the 1st Foot Guards of the Royal Prussian Army. The music corps led by him was stationed in Potsdam.
• In 1866, Voigt participated in the Austro-Prussian War.
• In 1870/71, Voigt participated in Franco-Prussian War. After the end of the campaign, he received Iron Cross II Class.
