The Texas Supreme Court Members Amendment, also known as Proposition 1, was on the July 16, 1929 ballot in Texas as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have increased the membership of the supreme court from three to nine members and required a continuous session of the supreme court.^[1][2]
