Ananta Hejeebu was an at-large representative on the Howard County Board of Education in Maryland. He was appointed to the position in May 2017 to replace Christine O'Connor.[1] Hejeebu did not run for re-election in 2018.
Hejeebu obtained a B.S. in mechanical engineering from West Virginia University and an M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University. He is the founder and managing partner of Howard Tech Advisors. He serves on the Howard County Transition Commission for Youth with Disabilities and the House County Public School System Budget Review Committee. He is also vice chairman of the board of directors for Leadership Howard County and is a member of the executive committee of the board of directors of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce.[2]
