Frieda (Peanuts)

Frieda was a minor character from the Peanuts comic strip, but she did show up in at least one of the movies. She was a redhaired girl who would always mention her "natural curly hair". It was discovered, however, that her hair would start to lose its natural curl when she was around Pig Pen and his dirt. She was seen as being vain, snooty and aloof and didn't have much else of a role. She was introduced in 1961, but she faded as a prominent character by the end of the 1960s as newer characters (most notably Peppermint Patty, Marcie and Franklin) were introduced and gained prominence in Peanuts.
