Jpeg

From Conservapedia

JPEG is technically an acronym for Joint Photographic Experts Group, the committee that created the JPEG compression standard for digitized photographic images.[1] However, JPEG is commonly used JPEG in reference to images compressed with the compression algorithm specified in JPEG standards. JPEG images are usually compressed using a lossy compression algorithm, but lossless JPEG compression is also specified.
