Tea Party Caucus

From Conservapedia

The Tea Party Caucus is a group of about 40 congressmen dedicated to listening and acting upon ideas and concerns of the Tea Party Movement.

Many conservatives, led by Representative Michele Bachmann (R-MN), have joined. Some conservatives, such as Representative Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), have declined to join (at least initially) due to concern a formal governmental caucus could stifle the work of the Tea Party activists, which is inherently against big government.[1]
