Mandl, Christof:

Hungarian author; converted to Christianity in 1534. His godfather was George, Margrave of Brandenburg, to whom Mandl dedicated his "Dass Jesus Christus Sey das Ewig Wort" (1536), in which Jesus is represented as the Redeemer. His other works are "Rechnung der 70 Wochen Danielis" (1552) and another, published in 1557, in which Jesus is described as the Messiah (Büchler, "A Zsidók Története Budapesten," Budapest, 1901).
