Grossman, Rudolph:

American rabbi; born at Vienna, Austria, July 24, 1867; B.L., University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Rabbi and D.D., Hebrew Union College, Cincinnati. Grossman was associate rabbi of Temple Beth-El, New York, from 1889 to 1896, and since the latter year he has been rabbi of Temple Rodef Sholom, in the same city. He was corresponding secretary of the Central Conference of American Rabbis (1902), and has written a number of essays for Jewish and other magazines. He was grand chaplain of the grand lodge of the Masonic Order, New York (1898-1900).
