Boone County is within the Twenty-Fifth Judicial Circuit of the West Virginia Circuit Court, and the Tenth Circuit of the West Virginia Family Courts.[1]

The United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia has jurisdiction in Boone County. Appeals from the Southern District go to the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.
