Aurora, Colorado

Aurora, Colorado was the location of the massacre allegedly perpetrated by James Holmes, a grad student at the nearby University of Colorado, during a midnight showing of a sold-out premiere of a Batman movie. It's current mayor is anti-Trump Republican Mike Coffman, who previously represented Colorado's 6th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives before being defeated for re-election in the 2018 Midterms by Democrat Jason Crow.
