Shrew

From Conservapedia

A shrew is a small wild rodent, resembling a brown mouse but having a long pointed snout. There are many species of shrew around the world. The pygmy shrew is the world's smallest known mammal.

The word "shrew" is also sometimes used as a pejorative for a forthright or aggressive girl or woman. The most famous example of this usage is William Shakespeare's play entitled The Taming of the Shrew.
