Berawan is a small village of 189 hectares in Soraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Berawan depends on Lal Gopalganj N, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Berawan's pin code is 229412[4], and village code is 05396000. The area of Berawan is segregated as 294 hectares irrigated area, 83 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Berawan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Berawan is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3345 and has total administration over 608 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 775 male, 221 female with 676 (67.87%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 611 males and 65 females. 316 males and 27 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 130 male and 22 female agricultural labor. 320 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Lal Gopalganj N and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
