Berawan is a small village of 189 hectares in Soraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Berawan depends on Lal Gopalganj N, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank and One handpump.
