Satarapur is a small village of 220 hectares in Atrauli Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Satarapur depends on Chharra Rafatpu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. The area of Satarapur is segregated as 179 hectares irrigated area, 29 hectares unirrigated area. the 1.212 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
