Umarawa is a small village of 361 hectares in Akbarpur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Umarawa depends on BHEETI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Umarawa's pin code is 224132[4], and village code is 06123700. The area of Umarawa is segregated as 361.51 hectares irrigated area. the 1.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 48 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Umarawa has One post office (Umrawan B.O) and One public telephone. Umarawa has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Umarawa is a census village in the district of Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2455 and has total administration over 362 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 646 (26.31%) males constitute 336 (13.69%) of the population and females 310 (12.63%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHEETI and Ambedkar Nagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
