Pine Ridge Indian Reservation

The Pine Ridge Indian Reservation is a Sioux Indian reservation located in southwest South Dakota.

The reservation is the home of the Oglala band of Lakota Sioux, and is the second largest Native American reservation in the country.

It is a remnant of the Great Sioux Reservation that was established by the Fort Laramie Treaty in 1868.
