Brian Philip Babin (born March 23, 1948) is an American dentist, politician and member of the Republican Party who has served as the U.S. representative from Texas's 36th congressional district since 2015. The district includes much of southeastern Houston, some of its eastern suburbs, as well as Orange and some more exurban areas to the east. He graduated from Lamar University and the University of Texas Dental Branch. He formerly served in United States Air Force from 1975 to 1979. Babin has most of conservative record in congress. Babbin introduced Student Privacy Protection and Safety Act of 2016 which would prohibit boys from entering girls bathroom. He is one of 126 Republicans who support Texas v. Pennsylvania and one of only 57 republicans who opposed sending $40 billion to Ukraine.[1]
