Peter Schiff

Peter David Schiff (born March 23, 1963) is a libertarian conservative economist and stock broker who is seeking the Republican nomination for the United States Senate in Connecticut during the 2010 Midterm Elections. In 2007, Schiff's best-selling book "Crash Proof" predicted the 2008 economic crisis.

His father, Irwin Schiff, was a noted tax protestor who claimed that the IRS (and American currency) were illegal.
