The Medical Association of the State of Alabama (MASA) was founded over 130 years ago. It is an association of over 7,000 physicians of varied specialties. It is composed of individual county level associations. The MASA exists to "serve, lead and unite physicians in promoting the highest quality of health care for the people of Alabama through advocacy, information and education."[1]
