Alkalai, Joseph Ben David:

Lived in Turkey in the early part of the nineteenth century. Author of "Amar Yoseph," containing notes to Maimonides and alphabetically arranged novellæ to the Talmud, as well as a number of homilies (Salonica, 1831).
