Cetaceans are members of the scientific order Cetacea, which encompasses all dolphins, porpoises, and whales.
Classification[edit]
All cetaceans are mammals and fall into two distinct sub-orders; Odontoceti (toothed) and Mysticeti (toothless). From here they are further divided into families:
