A1. 1) The Colonists came to America by their choice and now, England was unfairly taxing them heavily.

       2) The Colonists were forced to quarter British troops.
       
       3) The Colonists had started out with more freedom and now, the English were coming in and trying to take away their freedom.

A2. The phrase, “Taxation without representation” was coined by Rev Jonathon Mayhew in a sermon in Boston in 1750.

A3. The Boston tea party was a protest or rebellion against the tea tax.

A4. You can’t really blame one person for the witch trials. The people of Massachusetts, Tutuba the Indian slave, and the Devil all had a part in either starting or continuing the trials

A5. I don’t think there was any connection between religious freedom and conflict with the King.

A6. George Washington was a great man because he was a man of character, he was also wise general.

A7. The meaning of the political cartoon is, the Colonies had to join together and fight against the British (or the Indians) or they would all die. It showed that, just like a snake, the colonies were not strong enough by themselves.
