MOKALSAR is a small village of 3769 hectares in Suratgarh Tehsil in Ganganagar district, established by Maharaja Ganga Singh and known as one of the first well-planned modern cities of India, and is greatly influenced by the town planning of Paris in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. MOKALSAR depends on SURATGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. MOKALSAR is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. MOKALSAR's pin code is 335804[4], and village code is 00299800. The area of MOKALSAR is segregated as 38 hectares irrigated area, 3616.32 hectares unirrigated, remaining 114.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.
MOKALSAR has One post office (Mokalsar B.O) and One public telephone. MOKALSAR has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

MOKALSAR is a census village in the district of Ganganagar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1102 and has total administration over 169 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 396 (35.93%) males constitute 217 (19.69%) of the population and females 179 (16.24%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SURATGARH and Ganganagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
