Sylvan Fox
From Conservapedia Sylvan Robert Fox (April 4, 1925 – April 28, 2007)[1] was a radio station founder and owner from Alexandria, Louisiana. The KSYL station which he established in 1962 is named for the first three letters of his first name. Now owned by Cenla Broadcasting Company, KSYL has a talk format and carries the Moon Griffon statewide program from 9:05 to 11 a.m. weekdays, followed by three hours each of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin.
The son of Milton Harold Fox (1902-1964) and the former Edna Glazer (1905-1980) of Alexandria, Fox in August 1948 married the former Rosalyn Fay Rosenfield (1929-2011) of Shreveport, a daughter of Isidor and Irene Rosenfield. Th couple had two sons, Randy (deceased) and Jimmy. The Foxes were Jewish and are interred at the Jewish Cemetery in Pineville, Louisiana.[2]
