Hostt is a Palo Alto, California-based technology company that provides free web hosting to business owners. The site offers thousands of templates and one-step installation of software add-ons, including PHP and Perl modules. In addition, Hostt uses a freemium model used in many other technology platforms, including mobile gaming, social networks, and SaaS tools.^[1]

Overview

Joomla Magazine writes that Hostt "provides six Add-on domains, unlimited parked domains, and unlimited sub-domains, full access to FTP, PHP, Apache and Control Panel (cPanel). It also allows .htaccess access".^[3] In addition, "Hostt offers free WordPress hosting with no limits" and "give[s] users full FTP access to their data so that they control every (sic) and own all the content on the site."^[4]
