KARKOR

kar'-kor (qarqor):

An unidentified place where Gideon surprised and overwhelmed the remnants of the army of Zeba and Zalmunnah (Judges 8:10). It probably corresponds to Qarkar mentioned by Shalmaneser II, S. of Hamath (KB, I, 173).
