Inversion (Musical)

From Conservapedia

The notes making up a chord can be reshuffled in any order. It will still remain the same chord but no longer be in ‘root position’ (the root being the lowest note). It becomes what is known as an ‘inversion’.

This generally applies to any chord or triad containing three notes but also works with seventh chords or any chord with four or more notes.
