A Corte Madera Emergency Medical Services special tax, Measure C ballot proposition was on the November 2, 2010 ballot for voters in the Corte Madera Emergency Medical Services District in Marin County. It was defeated.
Measure C, if it had been approved, would have continued Corte Madera's parcel tax for paramedic and emergency medical services at a rate of $60 per residence and $60 per 1,000 square feet of floor area for nonresidential uses for fiscal 2011-12. The tax would have increased $5 a year to a maximum $75 per residence and $75 per 1,000 square feet of floor area for nonresidential uses in 2014-15.[1]
Following the defeat of 2010's Measure C, the town council placed a November 8, 2011 Measure C on the ballot. It was approved.
A two-thirds (66.67%) vote was required for approval.
