Ghana is a small village of 1056 hectares in Bhinay Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghana depends on Vijainagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 40.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ghana's pin code is 305622[4], and village code is 02561900. The area of Ghana is segregated as 134 hectares irrigated area, 453 hectares unirrigated, the 392 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 77 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ghana has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Ghana has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Ghana is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1483 and has total administration over 305 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Ghana has 251 children, 124 boys and 127 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 313 (21.11%) males constitute 151 (10.18%) of the population and females 162 (10.92%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 11 (0.74%) males constitute 3 (0.20%) of the population and females 8 (0.54%).

The workforce is 395 male, 452 female with 363 (42.86%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 317 males and 46 females. 221 males and 16 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 60 male and 20 female agricultural labor. 484 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Vijainagar and Ajmer to sell mawa and make their living.
