Las Vegas Raiders

From Conservapedia

The Las Vegas Raiders are a National Football League (NFL) team based in Las Vegas, Nevada. They are members of the American Football Conference (AFC) West Division.

History and League Title Success[edit]

The team was a charter member of the AFL as the Oakland Raiders, where they played until 1981 before moving to Los Angeles (during which time they gained a huge following, so much so that many public schools outlawed Raider clothing as it was -- and still is -- used for gang affiliation), only to return to Oakland in 1995. However, failure to obtain a new stadium (their stadium in Oakland was shared with the MLB's Oakland Athletics, the only such sharing arrangement remaining between NFL and MLB teams) led to their relocation to Las Vegas in 2020.

The franchise has won three Super Bowls, in 1976, 1980, and 1983, in addition to one AFL title in 1967.
