Female Infanticide

Female infanticide is the terribly evil practice of killing baby girls, based on the immoral view that baby boys are preferable to baby girls.

This is similar to the equally evil practice of abortion based on detection of the gender of the unborn child, such that some people abort an unborn child if detected to be a girl.

These practices have been reported in some non-Christian nations, leading to an imbalance of perhaps 100 million females missing from the world's population.
