This measure sought to implement a levy at a rate of $.45 per $1,000 of assessed value for a period of five years in order to help pay for emergency medical operational costs in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall the district impose $.45 per $1,000 of assessed value for five years beginning 2012-2013 to fund emergency medical operations? This measure may cause property taxes to increase more tan three percent.[3]
